Compact AB Balancers

Compact, ergonomic and cost-effective balancers are streamlined to fit virtually any work space, improve productivity by keeping tools organized and safeguard expensive power tools from possible accidents with superior suspension features.

Molex Aero-Motive®     balancers allows workers to move suspended tools or objects up or down with very little effort. The ergonomic balancers reduce operator fatigue and repetitive motion stress. Aero-Motive®  Balancers eliminate pick-up and lay-down wear of tools and prevent accidental tool dropping.

Depending on the spring adjustment of the balancer, the suspended tool or object will remain balanced when no force is applied. The balancers hold a spiral groove on a tapered drum that increases the winding radius to match the torque buildup of the spring when a load is applied. This action neutralizes the force to achieve a true-balance condition. The compact Aero-Motive AB balancers retain the same spring performance as the existing balancers and are smaller to accommodate tighter work spaces.

The AB balancer series includes three standard and three enhanced models with an on/off ratchet lock to hold the tool in the desired position. The AB balancers cover a weight range of 1.5 to 11 lbs (0.68 to 5.0 kg) and carry the CE mark for the European Market.
